Teleflex began in the 1930’s with a specific goal in mind – to help allied pilots control the skies over Europe during the early years of World
War II.

An English company then called M.R.C. Ltd. developed and built push-pull “Teleflex” branded cable controls for Spitfire fighter planes flown by the English, Canadian and Australian air forces. To reflect this engineering focus, the company’s name was eventually changed to Teleflex Products Ltd.

This same technology is still used to control our Architectural Window Opening Systems.
